Thanks to the duo's extensive knowledge of the industry, wealth of design ideas and expert resource, Lights & Lamps is guaranteed to be the brand to watch.
The pair have over 25 years combined experience in designing and developing best-selling lighting and interiors ranges for the British high street. Underlining their design backgrounds, is Niki's knowledge of production techniques and manufacturing know-how as well as Scarlett's online retail acumen and customer experience expertise. Together they have established lights&lamps as the go-to brand for stylish lighting solutions. The launch of the new company signifies the very first time Wright and Hampton's innovative designs are available direct to homeowners and designers, making it a very exciting announcement for the UK lighting market.
Thanks to their experience and expertise within the industry, lights&lamps offers something for everyone. Their knowledge of materials and construction means every product is well designed, thoroughly considered and offers the best value for our customers. In fact, their skill and ability to work with different materials - be it hand-woven rattan to fine polished crystal - further emphasises the choice and variety lights&lamps offers.

Determined to design and develop a range of products that would cater for all styles, tastes and budgets, we set to work and have released an impressive first collection in just 4 months.
We are positively obsessed with product design but highly motivated by customer experience. We design and make desirable products, packaged in 100% recyclable materials, made easy to shop and every sale earns 1% for the planet. So every one of our lights and lamps sold is not just good for you, or us, but it’s good for the whole planet too.

Product design is at the heart of lights&lamps. It’s what we do, what we love doing and what we want to do more than anything else. Our desks, our iPads our phones are full of drawings and ideas. The hardest part is knowing when to stop!
The ideas are the easy part. Getting them down on paper and making sense of them is where the real work begins. What does it look like? What is the finish? What materials can we use? How does it light? How can it be made? Is it even possible?! Just some of the questions that need to be answered every time we create a new design.
Not to worry, we do this a lot! We sketch it, we sketch it again, we ‘CAD it up’, make changes, make tweaks, change it again...after that we head to the workshop. Our happy place. Its like a mini factory where all our ideas are made into reality. Like kids in a sweet shop but only adults in a development room. Seeing the smallest of parts is exciting. A new glass, a drying stem, a shade being woven, even a new joint being polished. Its what gets us up in the morning...seeing that initial scribble being skill-fully assembled for the very first time.
So thats the first bit done; but are we happy with it? Is it bright enough? Is the size right? Is the colour right? Will anyone else like it?! Usually its fine, sometimes it isn’t, often we make more changes. Some of the modifications we make, you might not even notice; but its all those important details that make our designs stand out. The construction that means we can add it to our collection at a really great price, the quality that makes you raise your eye brows when you open the box and see it for the first time, the effort, the attention to detail, the passion that goes in to every one of our lights and lamps that makes us and you feel proud to have it hanging on your ceiling or perched on your side table.
Its what we love doing and what we’ll keep on doing. Its not just bulbs and switches or bases and shades. Behind every one of our lights and lamps is not just a lot of enjoyment and excitement but also a serious amount of design and detail.
So now you know, when you open that box and then switch it on, your new light or your new lamp has been designed by us and created for you.
We will group your products together as much as we can, but if it’s more cost effective to split deliveries we will. If the items are in stock the typical delivery lead-time is 3-5 working days. If you need it sooner, we can arrange a next day or express delivery, but there is an extra charge for this service.

Please note that as we await our stock deliveries, a lot of our items are marked pre-order with an estimated availability date. If you have ordered multiple items we will be delivering each item as and when they become available.
Any failed delivery that is returned to our warehouse will either be subject to charge for a second delivery, or any refund will be given minus any costs incurred.
Please note once your items have been dispatched you will not be able to cancel your order.
The price of our products doesn’t allow for free returns. If you're returning an item because you've changed your mind, you'll need to arrange for the goods to be returned to us. We advise that a secure/tracked service is used to ensure all returned items arrive back to us, within 28 days of receiving the product, in a resalable condition. Once we receive your returned order we will inspect all goods and any refunds will be processed within 14 days.
Items must be returned in a fully resalable condition, which means being unused and in the original packaging. lights&lamps reserves the right to refuse a refund on items deemed not to be resalable.
Faulty or damaged or lost items
If you receive a faulty or damaged product and a repair or replacement cannot be provided then please return the item to us within 7 days of receiving it, and we won’t charge you for the return.
For any lost items, we must be notified of this within 7 days of receipt of your dispatch email.
