All of our products are marked on their individual listing as either 'in stock' or 'pre order'. If it's a pre order item then we will give an estimated delivery time for the stock on the product listing. The date shown is when the stock is estimated to arrive to our warehouse not your door. All pre order dates shown are estimated and are subject to change. As soon as stock for pre order items arrives then we can process and despatch your order and delivery will be between 1-2 business days once you receive your despatch notification email.

We offer free standard delivery on all orders, with no minimum spend.
Some delivery options are not included in free delivery and will remain chargeable if selected at checkout. This includes
- Pallet delivery
- Express delivery
- Weekend delivery
Any applicable charges for these services will be clearly shown at checkout.
All standard deliveries are shipped via DPD.
- DPD normally attempts delivery over two consecutive days
- If both attempts are missed, the parcel will be returned to us, which incurs a minimum £10 failed delivery fee
- Redelivery requests cannot be guaranteed once the second delivery attempt is missed, even if the request is successfully submitted
Dispatch from our warehouse takes 1-2 days. Once dispatched, DPD Deliveries take place between 8am to 6pm and will take an additional 1-2 days. You will receive a tracking number so you can keep an eye on the delivery.
At checkout, we offer an Express Delivery option for customers who need their order shipped as quickly as possible. To qualify for same-day processing and dispatch, please place your Express order no later than 1:30 p.m. Orders placed after this time will be shipped the following business day.
For example, if you place an Express order at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, it will be shipped on Tuesday morning and arrive on Wednesday.
Standard Delivery Rates (by total order value):
- Under £100 – £10
- £100 to £200 – £15
- Over £200 – £20
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the size and weight of certain chandeliers, Express Delivery is not available for these items. These products are shipped via pallet delivery, with an estimated delivery time of 3–5 business days. Delivery times are specified on individual product listings.
Looking for weekend delivery? You can now select Saturday or Sunday delivery for an additional fee of £15 at checkout. To qualify, please place your order before 1 p.m. on Friday. Orders received after this time will be delivered the following weekend. Please note that this service is not available for pallet deliveries.
PLEASE NOTE: Express and weekend delivery services are not available to Northern Ireland. As delivery times to these locations can vary, we’re unable to guarantee expedited or weekend delivery. All orders to Northern Ireland will therefore be sent using our standard delivery service.
If the item(s) are in stock, the typical dispatch time is 1–2 business days. Please allow an additional 1–2 business days for delivery.
If the order is placed late at night, it will roll over to the next working day for processing. In this case, please allow 1–2 business days for dispatch from the following working day.
If you need it sooner, you can select express delivery, but there is an extra charge for this service. Please note that express shipping is not available for pallet deliveries.
Once your order has been processed and dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive a tracking reference. We now also offer order editing after checkout.
If you make any changes to your order after 1:30 pm, it will be dispatched on the next working day. Please note that we cannot guarantee same-day delivery for orders edited after 1:30 pm, even if express shipping is selected.
Please note that during the Christmas period and Bank Holidays, there may be slight delays in delivery due to warehouse closures.

Please note any items that are rejected at delivery point or returned to us due to multiple failed delivery attempts are subject to a restocking fee (which will be deducted from any refunds due) or re delivery fee.
Important: Please do not redirect your delivery
Due to the size of our lighting products, they are not suitable for delivery to DPD lockers or Pickup locations. Please do not use the DPD app to redirect your parcel to a locker, shop or other collection point.
If your delivery needs to be rearranged, please select an alternative home delivery date instead or contact our support team, who will be able to assist.
Redirecting your parcel to a locker or Pickup location may mean that the parcel cannot be accepted or collected due to its size.
In the unlikely event that your order does not arrive or an item is missing from your delivery please get in touch with us within 7 calendar days of receiving your dispatch notification email on sales@lightsandlamps.com and our team will be able to assist you.
Please note that some of our large chandeliers require pallet shipping for which there is an additional charge of £100 applied at checkout. All these items are clearly marked as pallet shipping on our website listings. The items include:
- Lonso taupe chandelier
- Petalia - 9 light light bronze and smoked green glass tube tall chandelier
- Petalia - 9 light aged brass and smoked green glass tube wide chandelier
- Petalia - 9 light bronze and smoked chocolate glass tube tall chandelier
- Petalia - 9 light aged brass and clear glass tube tall chandelier
At this time, items that require pallet deliveries are not available to Northern Ireland.
Please note - for pallet shipping, we are not able to send you a live tracking link or reference number. Once your order is placed, our pallet delivery company will call you to arrange delivery. Pallet shipping requires 3-5 business days.

Unfortunately we are not currently able to deliver to Republic of Ireland or anywhere in Europe. We are working to allow these orders and will extend our shipping territories as soon as possible. Many thanks for your patience.

We are currently unable to offer timed dispatches. All standard orders are processed in 1-2 business days. You may be able to change the delivery date with the courier once you receive the tracking details.
Some items require pallet shipping due to their size and weight and are subject to an additional fee. This is noted on the relevant product pages. We are unable to discount or waive the pallet shipping cost.
Standard sized items can be shipped to Northern Ireland via DPD. Large items require pallet shipping are not available for NI.
We are currently unable to deliver outside of the UK. Items require pallet shipping cannot be delivered to Northern Ireland.
We are unable to ship to these regions.
The estimated restock time is shown in the "Standard delivery" section on each product page. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide exact restock dates at this time. The timeframes shown on our website are estimates and may be subject to change depending on international shipping conditions.
Orders containing more than one item are often dispatched in multiple boxes under a single consignment number. Unfortunately, DPD occasionally separate deliveries, and in such cases, the remaining boxes are typically delivered the following day, even if the tracking status shows as ‘delivered’.

As this is part of DPD’s automated process, please allow all parcels to be delivered within 2 business days of dispatch.
The lightbulbs are fragile, so we pack them within the main light or lamp fitting box where we can. Before you contact us, please thoroughly double check all the gaps inside the box for the bulbs. Boxes contain lightbulbs are manually marked on the shipping label.
In the unlikely event that your order does not arrive or an item is missing from your delivery please get in touch with us within 7 calendar days of receiving your dispatch notification email.
We are unfortunately unable to resend any returned parcels. Please note any items that are rejected at delivery point or returned to us due to failed delivery attempts are subject to a restocking fee when it arrives at our warehouse. If you still require the item, please place a new order. However, if your parcel has been rerouted back to us for no reason, please get in touch and we will be happy to assist.
