GENERAL
The pricing and descriptions of products can also be amended at any point without prior notice.
We aim to display the colours of our products as accurately as possible. However, as resolution, print methods and screen settings can affect how an item is displayed, the accuracy of colours cannot be guaranteed.
lights&lamps is a registered company of England & Wales 07533302 at, 34 Market Street, Bradford on Avon, BA15 1LL. All associated intellectual property, including text, product names and descriptions, imagery, brochures and website design remain the property of lights&lamps, and cannot be used without prior consent.
These terms & conditions may be updated at any time.
CONFIRMATION
Once we have received your order we will send a confirmation to your email address. It is therefore important that you enter the correct e-mail address when placing your order. We recommend saving this email in order to facilitate any contact with customer service you may have in the future. The order confirmation (receipt) also serves as a guarantee of proof of purchase.
PAYMENT
You can choose to pay with PayPal, credit or debit cards, Payments are processed by Shopify and PayPal. lights&lamps does not handle any credit card numbers.
PAYMENT BY CARD
Pay with your Visa or MasterCard securely over the Internet. Your payment is handled by Shopify or PayPal with secure encryption and under strict banking standards.
Your card details are sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or accessed by anyone other than your bank. There is no extra charge for card payments. When paying by credit / debit card starting conditions apply as soon as the card transaction is approved. In the event that no payment has been received after submitting your order, lights&lamps may automatically cancel your order.
PRIVACY
The collection and storage of personal information submitted to lights&lamps is governed by the UK Data Protection Act (2003). This means your details will not be divulged to third parties and we will not send you promotional information, by email or post, unless you agree to it.
Under the Data Protection Act, you retain the right to access and modify any data about you held by lights&lamps. When you visit the lights&lamps website, or when you register your details or purchase from lights&lamps, you agree to be governed by lights&lamps terms and conditions.
Mobile terms of service

The lights&lamps mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by lights&lamps (“lights&lamps”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
By consenting to lights&lamps’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of lights&lamps through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).
You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with lights&lamps. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.
We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.
You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to lightslamps or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other lights&lamps mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.
The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.

SECURITY
To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure, lights&lamps uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the internet. If SSL is enabled then you will see a padlock at the top of your browser that you can click to find out information about the SSL digital certificate registration.
COOKIES
Cookies are small text files stored by your web browser on your computer. We use cookies to track and store information about how you use and interact with our website, in order to personalise your online shopping experience with us.
These files do not store personal data and are perfectly safe. You can disable cookies in your web browser, but please note that you may not be able to fully use all of the features of our website.
RATES
All orders will be processed in UK pounds. You can change the currency displayed on the lights&lamps website, but the debit from your account will be in UK pounds.
For UK customers the total price shown is the amount payable.
ORDERING
Orders made in another person's name without his consent, or otherwise as a result of lights&lamps suffer economic damage will be reported to the police. lights&lamps holds the right to change prices, correct incorrect prices on all orders as well as final sales. If a price is obviously incorrect, this may compel lights&lamps to cancel the purchase and refund any amount paid in the best way. This can be performed at any time.
WARRANTY
Warranty term: Two years from the date of purchase for electrical faults. Finish warranty is 1 year from the date of purchase.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
When shopping with lights&lamps we will save some of your data to fulfil your purchase. lights&lamps treats all personal information confidential. You have the right to request access to your data and if there is anything wrong you can get it changed or removed. lights&lamps may also use cookies, for example in order to improve your experience of the website.
PRODUCT
lights&lamps has the right to adjust prices, involve additional cost and change product information such as product pictures and offers without notice. The product images and information texts available reflect the product as much as possible. We reserve the right for any errors that may appear on the page and cannot guarantee that all pictures accurately reflect the true appearance of the light. The pictures may differ depending on the colour settings in your computer. All pictures should be seen as illustrations only, and do not guarantee correct appearance and characteristics.
DELIVERY AND CANCELLATIONS
lights&lamps ships within the UK. Deliveries are made in cooperation with the postal services and their partners in other countries around the world. You have the right to cancel purchases and return delivered goods by contacting lights&lamps customer service or using the contact form on lights&lamps website within 30 days from receiving the goods, provided the goods are unpacked and in the same condition as when you received them. However, the cost and risk for transporting the returned goods to lights&lamps will be on you. In cases where you as a customer believe that the delivery is delayed in such a way that you no longer wish to fulfill the order it is your responsibility to cancel the order. In cases where the order has been dispatched, the customer is required to receive the order. Cancellation is not valid until the customer has confirmed with lights&lamps either by email or telephone. If a product has been discontinued lights&lamps has the right to cancel the purchase and refund the paid amount to the customer. lights&lamps will notify the customer of a replacement or equivalent products if available.
COMPLAINTS TERMS
It is important that you as a customer carefully check your goods / products when you receive your shipment in order to verify that the products are not damaged and correct. If your product is damaged in transport, whether the damage is visible or hidden, you must report this as soon as possible to the carrier. If you receive your item and see that it is damaged or does not match the one you ordered or, you shall also contact us within 30 days from receiving the product.
Any complaints shall be made to our customer service through our contact form on the contact page. Please supply the order number and the reason for complaint and we will get back to you shortly with instructions on how to return the item. Defective products returned to lights&lamps should be treated as if they were faultless. It is in all types of returns extremely important that the product is packaged in such a way that it cannot be damaged during transit. lights&lamps has the right to replace defective goods with goods of the same model. If the item has been discontinued, the customer will receive a full refund.
LIABILITY
lights&lamps responsibility for errors in connection to delivery is limited to existing conditions of sale. lights&lamps bears no direct or indirect responsibility for example, but not limited to, incompatibility, delivery delays, downtime, data loss, additional work or other economic harm.
FORCE MAJEURE
lights&lamps shall be exempt from liability for damages and other penalties on the performance of the contract prevented, hindered or delayed by circumstances beyond our control. As the release factor should be considered include government intervention, new / amended legislation, lack of state, war, fire, flood, labor disturbance, prohibitions, restrictions, sabotage, poor transport or weather conditions or lack of delivery from suppliers and the company is exposed to criminal activity that affects activities.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All intellectual property rights, such as trademarks and copyright, on the website and in the material published on it are owned by TLDC (UK) LTD / trading as lights&lamps or its subsidiaries or licensors. Any use of the site or its content, including copying or storing such content in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without the permission of lights&lamps
USER CONTENT
The lightsandlamps.com website may include user generated content from for example social media applications. lights&lamps does not claim any ownership in rights in such content (images, photos and videos etc.) and take no legal responsibility for it. In case you for example suspects a violation of copyright, or any other right, or otherwise is offended by such content, please contact our customer service.
RETENTION OF TITLE
All products remain in lights&lamps property until full payment is made.
FRAUD
All attempts at fraud reported to the police and lights&lamps reserves the right to cancel the purchase if any suspicion is raised.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms and your use of the www.lightsandlamps.com website are governed by UK law. To the extent permitted by law, UK courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction of any dispute arising from these terms of use and your use of the website, subject to lights&lamps right to prosecute a user at his/her place of residence.
TERMINATION
lights&lamps reserves the right to terminate your account and/or your use of the www.lightsandlamps.com website at its sole discretion. For example if lights&lamps suspects that you have breached this terms of use. Such termination can be made without prior notice.
AMENDMENTS
lights&lamps may revise these terms of use from time to time. Every time you order a product from us, the general conditions in force at that time will apply to the contract between you and lights&lamps. You should therefore periodically visit this page to review the then current terms to which you are bound.
