We have been chatting with Chelsea Stonier, the influential content creator, interior designer, top to bottom house renovator, owner of thehousethatblackbuilt and of course a loyal supporter of lights&lamps.
We first worked with Chelsea when designing her very own ceiling pendant which we appropriately named the Chelso. Since then, we have worked in collaboration on various projects all featured in her impressive home renovations old and current. After 3 years and following the release of our latest AW23 collection, we had to ask Chelsea: “what are your favorites?”
So, welcome to the lights&lamps edit by our good friend Chelsea…
The Cline table lamp is like it was made for me! The base is made from Viola Calacatta, the same marble we used for our dressing room island. The shade is hand finished in a dark bronze a perfect match to our hardware and handles. Love it!

Everything I work on has to be simple, elegant and luxe! The Ottino floor lamp is definitely all three. I love the retro linen shade and everyone knows I’m a sucker for aged brass! Such a simple design, full of beautiful details.

Wall lights are never easy to choose. I don’t like seeing bulbs and most of the time I just want an accent light. The Nitara wall light is such a good solution. Loads of detail but still really subtle with an up and down wash of light. The dark chocolate colour works really well with almost anything and is a nice pairing with my other favorite colour – black!

This is what I really appreciate about lights&lamps. They just know how to design beautiful things that aren’t too fussy! I also can’t resist a globe and the Boule has 4! I think the sizing of this one is spot on. Not massive but the opal glass globes are still really generous… and of course the aged brass!

Who knew a spotlight could be so classy?! If I didn’t have a million spotlights in my kitchen, I’d definitely have these. The Guilla spotlights are also suitable for outdoors or the bathroom - so you never know…
The Guilla are available in the straight position or angled and also look just as good on the wall – very versatile.

I mean!
This is a combination I have chosen from
the Editions collection that lights&lamps have designed in collaboration with Elle Decoration… and who doesn’t want a bit of Elle Decoration glamour in their house?! To be honest it's difficult to choose a favourite from this collection but cast aged brass AND bronze – obsessed!

The Renwick floor lamp could literally go in any of our rooms. There is also a wall and chandelier to match, but I love the fact they aren’t completely matchy matchy. It’s a really practical floor lamp actually. Bright enough to be a main light but also comes with a dimmer – perfect for a Netflix marathon!

You may have already seen these in our nursery. The Santi wall light has been in the lights&lamps range from early on, but they have just launched this update in the aged brass (as well as bronze), so obviously I couldn’t resist!
These are so nice on or off. A really nice subtle wall wash of light and also you can angle them if you want to position them as a picture light.

The Pitti table lamp is such a clever little lamp. From the front it looks like a decent size. Lovely wide linen shade and really nice organic shaped base in bronze ceramic…but… it is so slim! Just 8cm deep I’m told so is perfect for narrow shelves or mantles. Is there anything they don’t think of?!

Last but my absolutely no means least – the Chelso! I couldn’t not include this. If a light can be close to my heart this one is. I designed this dark brushed brass option with lights&lamps for my previous living room and now have the black version in our dressing room. Seriously – what is there not to like, but then I would say that!
